Current state
Optical subsystems are built using
multiple discrete components, each one with its discrete
associated control and interconnected via cumbersome
hand assembled fiber interconnects. And to top it all,
this construction also requires a bulky Digital-Analog
control board, which also contains multiple optical
and electrical discrete components.
As we all experienced, this makes
the construction of even the simplest component expensive,
space consuming and complex to operate.
Our Offering
With the vision of bringing VLSI
concepts to the optical world, hence integrating optics
and electronics on a single All-Silicon chip, Ajbrui
combines optical functionalities including their complex
and expensive circuitry around into a single component.
This Subsystem-On-a-Chip provide all its
functionalities in a single, small and self-sealed package,
all at a wafer level.
Ajbrui devices remove the need for analog
and mixed signal design complexities, providing a simple
and easy to use control via a standard I2C, SPI digital
bus or even via its graphical user interface.
